Upload your photos to flickr
The Viewr currently uses flickr to fetch photos to display. Soon we will add 23hq and any others you might be using and want to tell us about.
So, go get a flickr account if you don't already have one, and upload your photos. See here for a basic tutorial on getting started with flickr.
Minimum set of tags required
You *must* have the following tags to get your photos to appear in the Viewr:
- geo:lat=[enter the latitude of the photo here]
- geo:lon=[enter the longitude of the photo here]
(you can use geo:long= if you like)
- geo:dir=[enter the compass reading of the photo here - North is 0, West is 270]
(We also accept ge:heading, ge:head, kml:heading, kml:dir, exif:GPSImgDirection, quakr:compass)
A hopefully helpful Map of the Glastonbury site
*simply* click the map to get a bigger/readable version, then tag up your photos...

More tags to enhance your photo
If you add these tags, your photo will be positioned more accurately in the 3d world:
- geo:alt=[the altitude in meters]
- ge:tilt=[a number from 0-180 where 0 is looking down at the photo, 90 is looking ahead, 180 is looking up]
(We also accept kml:tilt, quakr:tilt)
(We know that ge:tilt only goes up to 90 for GoogleEarth purposes, but we can do more with your photos than GE can)
- ge:roll=[a number from 0-360 for the angle to rotate the image through clockwise]
(We also accept kml:roll, quakr:roll)
